Well, I’m looking at trying to perk up our multi-faith chapel some, so I thought I share my thoughts, in the hope of helpful feedback.
My thoughts were kicked off by memories of the Dome of the Rock. I thought, since pictures are tricky, we could use words to decorate the chapel. I have invited the chaplains of the other faiths to offer verses from their scriptures (to which I will add texts eg Micah 6:8) which are universal.
I was thinking of something like this (with the swirly lines representing the texts) along the main wall of the chapel:

I confess the wordle is still self-consciously Christian, but I thought not distractingly so for folk of other religions …
